Introduction to process improvement through statistical process control and the Deming concepts of lean manufacturing. Based on material originally developed for the Supplier Development Programme of a major car company by Process Management International and Enlightenment. The CD-ROM comprises an interactive video drama, set in a medium-sized manufacturing plant, where a major contract has just been lost. The viewer interviews the various characters and examines production records to help the process improvement team discover the source of the quality problem. There is a supporting glossary of process improvement, statistical process control and lean manufacturing terms and tools. The package is designed to be accompanied by case studies from the user company / industry. Currently being adapted to online e-learning.
